I have established MS Word as a DDE server in an application I'm
writing. I am using appname "WINWORD" and it works fine on all our
servers but one, where the attempt to open the channel fails and hangs
the app. We're trying to figure out what's wrong with this server.
What exactly does Windows do with this string when it tries to find the
app? Does it look for it in the registry somewhere? Thanks.
