Default My tabs keep messing up!?!?!?! Help!!!!!

I am a pastor and I've been writing sermons using Word for quite a number of
years. I type up my sermons in an outline format. I do not use the settings
for automatic bullets or numbering, etc. because I don't like how Word sets
them up.

Yesterday I began typing up my sermon in outline format like I always have.
When I got to the end of the document and pushed 'control s' to save it all
my tabs messed up. Lines that I have indented under each line all went back
to the far left of the page. When I go back to try and correct the problem
my cursor jumps up a few lines and whole sections become indented.

What's happening?

It is difficult to ascertain what went wrong with your doucment from what you
have said, but to fix it I would suggest that you highlight the text you want
to indent then select Format menu, paragraph and set the left indentation to
1cm or whatever it is you like.

I personally wouldn't do it that way as I use styles or the ruler, but I
think seeing as you don't like those things you may find the manual way
easier.

Hope this helps.
