Help creating form
I am trying to create a form and have used a table to define areas for the
user to input answers to questions, such as Name, Address, etc. I would then like to insert some check boxes and choices for the user to select-such a Camera, MP3 player, etc. I can insert the check boxes in the last row of the table, but I cannot tab or move the cursor to enter the text for the options (such as camera, etc.) Also, what steps do I to complete next to save this as a form and distribute it? |

Help creating form
Hi Gail,
Are you using the Form toolbar to add in your Check Boxes and then Lock the form before saving for use? I find I have the same problem you are having when I forget to lock it. juli "Gail" wrote: I am trying to create a form and have used a table to define areas for the user to input answers to questions, such as Name, Address, etc. |

I am trying to put in a check box and then TAB after the check box to add the
text. The tab key takes me to the next row of the table-even if I insert a tab. I think I have found a work around which is to space over a few and then enter the text, go back and insert a check box. Is this a silly approach? Help creating form
OH, i see...you are still creating your form, not trying to use it yet. It
sounds like what you're doing will work. If the space where you want to enter your text is in the next cell of the table, you should also be able to click there with your mouse. Once you've completed the form, be sure to Lock It and Save it as a Template (.dot) for emailing or accessing from a network share. juli "Gail" wrote: I am trying to put in a check box and then TAB after the check box to add the text. To insert a tab character in a table cell, use Ctrl+Tab.
