Default scanning document into word

when scanning a doc. into word imaging, How do you get it to look exactly the
same. My problem is that i scan it ito imaging and than send it to word for
correcting and changing and it comes out in a different form. Some of it in a
different like type of launguage and it does not look like the document I
scanned. It is all scrunched together and in different fonts and sizes and a
wierd laungage in parts of it.... Please help if you know what to do.

Scanning software can be iffy. I don't think I've ever been able to scan a
document in as text and not have to do some major fixing.

Document Imaging is a rudimentary OCR tool that extracts the text but not
the formatting of the scanned document. If you want something more
sophisticated then you need better OCR software. I have tried most and
Finereader is the most effective, but even that will struggle on some
documents. Resign yourself to the fact that OCR will usually require some
additional formatting.
