Default adding pages to a document

i'm trying to relayout text in a Word document with "Text Box" feature.
i can't seem to find how to "add" pages to this document. i have at least 6
pages to relayout, but it doesn't autoflow into new pages. how to add new
blank pages? the nature of "text box" is that you have to draw new ones, i
can't draw unless i have blank pages. any suggestions? thank you!

I shudder to imagine a Word document done in text boxes, but you have what
you have. In order to add new pages, you will need to add page breaks
(Ctrl-Enter). You could just add a stack of page breaks (hit Ctrl-Enter
several times) and then float the text boxes on each page as necessary, but
there's a better way (IMHO).

I think a better way is to place your text boxes in-line with the text
rather than floating in front of the text. To do that, right click on the
text box and select "Format Text Box." Then select the "Layout" tab and
click on "In line with text." That will make it so that the text boxes flow
with any paragraphs or page breaks you have in the document proper, and will
keep text boxes from bouncing around if you add text somewhere.

Once all of the text boxes are in-line with the text, you can add page
breaks wherever you want. If you add a page break before a text box, the box
will go to the next page. If you add the page break after a text box, it
will stay where it is.

If you have text boxes that need to overlap other boxes, the overlapping
ones will need to stay "In front of text."
