Default How do I fix the width of a drop down box in word?

I don't want the box to automatically adjust to the size of the selected word
- I would like it to look like a professional form, but in two days of
searching I haven't been able to find anything on this subject.

Hi ?B?U0VNSA==?=,

Form fields: you have no choice. Form fields are made to flow with the text. You
could put it in a table cell with a fixed width, so that there's a maximum
amount of space. For printing the form, this should be just fine.

Your alternative would be to use the dropdown from the Controls Toolbox. Note,
however, that this will trigger macro security and VBA code would be required to
fill the list.

Thank you very much! I believe the control toolbox is the route I need to
take - I know it can be done as I've seen it before, just didn't know where
to start looking!
