How to transcribe from a recording to Word
I am transcribing from a Media file recording to a Word document. I listen,
put the recording on pause, switch to my Word document to type. Is there an easier way to record while using the same computer. |

How to transcribe from a recording to Word
Well I think the problem is not with MS-Word. You need to change you media
player. Most of the transcriptionists use Express Scribe. Its a audio player in which you can use the function keys to play/pause/fast forward/ rewind even if its minimized, so that you can continue typing without having to switch applications. You can also use a device called foot-pedal where in you can control the playback by using your feet. Bash "mjoyner" wrote: I am transcribing from a Media file recording to a Word document.
