Default How to protect the document

hi i am a student of BITS- Pilani, i want to protect the document i have to
get edited by the user.
Like i have desiged a form, all the labels i have i want user should not be
able to edit them, but he can be able to add information like if there is a
lable for Name then he should be able to write something in that field after
the label.
the current option of protect document if i use then it lock the whole
document, but i want some fields to be edited.
how can i do it, is there any facility you have in microsoft word ?
