Default how do you find codes for background colors in a htlm page

have copyed source into word from web page but how do i find all color codes
for background

It's in the code. Look for bkgd or something like that. (Memory isn't
working 100% today)

would you say that the background color for ffffff code is white? thanks for
the page referal most helpful but does not say all color names!! just
started a web design course and want to be top of the class!! Thanks

Color names aren't carved in stone. Just because Site A says color 123456 is
Royal Blue doesn't mean that Site B can't call that same color Ultramarine
Blue.

One of the sites I reference is VisiBone Webmaster's Color Lab
(http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/). It doesn't help if all you have is the
hex number but if you have an idea of color, it'll give the color a name.
