Default I was sent a form in micro word to fill out but lines move when I.

I was sent a form to fill out .....when I type on the line , the line moves.
How do I type on top of line not thru the line

It sounds like the person who created the form didn't do it correctly.
Unless you are applying for that person's job and want to demonstrate that
you know the proper way to create a form, I would just fill it in and let
the file's originator deal with the mess.

To add to Joann's suggestion, you could help the sender by making your
entries stand out by embolding your entries (or non-bold if the document is
in bold).
