Footer Layout
I am working in Word 2003. I have a footer created for a document that only
has one section. The footer has certain language that must be left justified on the page, but the date needs to be right justified. Is there a way to keep the text on the same line and only right justify the date? I can only get it to work if the text is on separate lines. When I highlight only the date and right justify it, all the text on the line is right justified or the text appears to be moved off the page. |

Footer Layout
In my Word 2003, the footer has two tabs: align center tab and align right
tab. I think this is the default for W2003 & 2007 headers and footers. To get left and right aligned footer lines, press tab once or twice (depending on the length of the text part) between the text and the date. HTH, PamC kmundorf wrote: I am working in Word 2003. Have you tried using a right-tab to set the position of the date? -- PeterMcC If you feel that any of the above is incorrect, inappropriate or offensive in any way, please ignore it and accept my apologies. |
