Default To save something cut and pasted from a web page as plain text

I would like to be able to convert something I have cut and pasted from a web
page (i.e. with graphics and formatting) as plain text. How do I do this?

Save the document into which you paste it as a text (.txt) file.

Hope this helps.

Or... if you simply want to strip out formatting when pasting, choose Edit -
Paste Special - Unformatted.

Use the 'Paste Special' facility in Word (in the Edit pull down menu),
that's what it's there for. Select the 'Unformatted Text' option.
Then Save As 'Plain Text'.
Regards Mike.
