Default Word Message: "The custom dictionary C:\ Documents..." is not avai

When I open certain Word documents I receive a message that the "The custom
dictionary C:\ Documents and Settings\ username \..." is not availiable.

I am trying to figure out what happened in these certain documents to cause
this message to pop up when I open them and how do I fix this setting for the
custom dictionary so the problem will be eliminated?

Thanks for your time to help!

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=320278 "You receive a 'The custom
dictionary Filename is not available' error message when you use the
Portuguese (Brazilian) proofing tools in Word" for one possibility.
