Default Upgrading Word 2000 SR-1

I have Microsoft Works Suite 2001 with Word 2000 SR-1. I just coorected a
bug, but before doing so had deleted Word 2000 then re-installed it using the
CD.

It would seem that I deleted any updates that I received since. I browsed
the update section for Word 2000 SR-1 and noted several such as service paks
SR-2 and another SR-3. Which upgrade should I select, or is it best to let
the Microsoft Works Updater do it automatically?

Thanks

Hi

In general, an SR (Service release) or SP (Service pack) includes all the
updates from previous SRs or SPs. So you'll only need SR-3 and it will
include all the updates from SR-2.

I generally let the online tool decide what updates my machines need.
Occasionally, it proposes to update a program that I know I don't have any
more, and so I don't download that update, but I've had very few problems
with the online tool.

Hope this helps.
