In Word 2007, I am unable to create a new master document where I could
incorporate sub documents from files on my disk, as was possible i previous versions of Word. How to do this? The Help files show no entries at all. |

It appears that you're familiar with master documents and all the associated risks. To find the commands to create and manipulate master documents in Word 2007: On the View tab, in the Document Views group, click Outline View. On the Outlining tab, in the Master Document group, click the Show Document button to display the full complement of commands. Master Document w subdocuments in Word2007?
Hi Aeneas
I also am having problems with subs in 2007. I have used master and subs without problem in word 2003, but the same doc won't open when I go to print preview in 2007. So now I am trying to recreate this doc and have got it all to the stage of creating the subdocument but it won't let me. I also can't find anything on word 2007 help. Are you able to help me "Aeneas" wrote: It appears that you're familiar with master documents and all the associated risks.
