Default How to use save as to a network location

In word I can load a file from a network location. If I want to save the file
with a new name to a network I find that I can't. I can save with the new
name to my local machine. How can I get word to save with the new filename to
the network location

from your Windows XP-based or Windows 2000-based computer to a shared
folder on a file server".
