What are the keystrokes for a Hard Space (Absolute Space)?
This feature goes back through several versions of Word and WordPerfect and
problably any other early word processing program you can imagine. I have not had any use for it in many versions, but someone asked me the other day and I was stumped. I do remember using this feature to make sure license plate numbers, id, social security number and the like did not break on a line. I suggested kerning or orphan programming, but neither was satisfactory. Any help would be appreciated. |
