How can I type in information on to Microsoft Word forms we are using without
messing up the alignments of the document? Is there specific software that
needs purchasing?

See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...nesInForms.htm. You need to
fix your field in either fixed-size table cells or fixed-size frames so that
they won't expand. What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online
form." Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
