Table of Figures
I have figures and tables in a document, and I want a Table of Figures for
the captions. When I create the Table of Figures, Word goes into one of the tables and adds entries to the Table of Figures from the entries in the table, not just the caption for the table. |

Table of Figures
Have you used the Caption paragraph style in the table?

Table of Figures
Yes. I read that in the "Help" and it did not help.
What is weird is that it is going inside a table and getting entries in a table and putting them in the Table of Figures. "Suzanne S. Table of Figures
I figured it out. Somehow, the Style for the data in the table was not
"Normal", but was "Caption." When I set the correct style for the table entries, they disappeared from my Table of Figures. Thanks. "Steve" wrote: Yes. I read that in the "Help" and it did not help. Table of Figures
That was the point of my first question since having the table text in
Caption style would produce this result. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Steve" wrote in message ... I figured it out.
