I recently came back from a conference where I was told it is not good to run
both versions in our office. That the could corrupt files. Does anyone have
experience with this. Is this true?

That's not very likely. However, to avoid the use of features that are
available in 2003, but not in XP, in Word 2003 it might be a well to select
"Microsoft Word 2002" under the "Recommended options for:" section of the
ToolsOptionsCompatibility dialog.

Hi Doug: Thanks for your response. I was told that the VB is slightly
different and we are using VB to create custom templates. There is more than
that, but for now, that is what I am gathering..... Thank you for reponding
