Losing text box in footer when changing to landscape
I have a text box in my footer that disappears if I change the orientation to
landscape. It doesn't matter where in the footer the text box is. I have a text box in the header that behaves as I expect and does not disappear. I have seen this in both Word 2003 and 2007. Does anyone know why this might be happening? |

Is the text box positioned relative to the page, paragraph, margin, or what?
If it's positioned at ,say, 10" relative to page, then of course it will be off the page when the page is only 8.5" high. -- Suzanne S. Losing text box in footer when changing to landscape
The text box was positioned with an absolute setting, but that setting was
off the page for landscape. Duh. Now I'm having a different problem maintaining the settings that work. (I have another posting on this.) Thanks! "Suzanne S.
