Line number in both left and right margins
I am using Word 2003
Is there any way for the line numbering to be on both the left and right sides of the pages? (I hate to say it but like WordPerfect does.) We have a client who insists on using line numbering in specifications for which several different companies contribute sections (All the rest of us use Word). Those of us using Word need to come up with a way to duplicate WordPerfect's line numbering. |

You could do this with fixed line numbering such as the Pleading Wizard
uses, which is just a list of numbers in a text box anchored to the header; you could anchor identical text boxes on both sides. This numbering is totally inflexible, however, and of course restarts on each page. -- Suzanne S.
