word document that was deleted accidentally?
I accidentally deleted a very important document. Is there any possible way
that I can get it back, even if I already emptied the recycling bin? Please help. |

Enila had this to say: My reply is at the bottom of your sent message: I accidentally deleted a very important document. Is there any possible way that I can get it back, even if I already emptied the recycling bin? Please help. Only if you're very lucky. Take out the hard drive, put it into a system which doesn't use restore, and try data recovery or send it to a data recovery specialist. Enila
Your file may be recoverable, but do NOT do any more with the system otherwise you might overwrite the file, if you haven't already.. A program like File Recover will have as good a chance as any at retrieving your file.. http://www.pctools.com/file-recover/ It costs, of course, and it may not get your file back.. if you take this route, do NOT install the program onto the drive where the deleted file is.. -- Mike Hall MVP - Windows Shell/User "Enila" wrote in message ... Any chance you have the default "create backups" turned on? If
so, it's going to still be there, named "backup filename.wbk". Might be a rev old, but better than nothing. "Enila" wrote in message ... :I accidentally deleted a very important document. Makes me think of an expression my mom used to use to describe me when I was
younger - Book smart but common sense dumb. (Time and age has greatly improved that second part.) -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Galen" wrote in message ... Hi,
It is really possible to restore it, using Active@ undelete ort Uneraser data recovery tools. They never failed me before and their restore algorithm is really powerful. Uneraser is a perfect restore tool for pure DOS. http://www.active-undelete.com/ http://www.uneraser.com/ |

I would suggest this freeware utility called PC Inspector File
Recovery, I have used it a couple of times and works great, might not be for a person who is not comfortable with computers, you could screw up your Hard Drive. http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm |

Hello,
EASEUS DataRecoveryWizard utility can help. Speaking about me, it was easily able to restore deleted, lost file and unformat drive, so I think you will also find it quite useful. Really recommended tool, give it a try. http://www.easeus.com/ -- Good work, Good day. "Enila" wrote: I accidentally deleted a very important document.
