Start at the beginning. Add content until you are happy. Then stop. Don't
forget to save.

You have to describe more what you have in mind if you
don't find Jezebel's answer helpful :-)

Please include the version of Word with which you'll be
working.

For starters, you might take a look at Format/columns and
read up in Word's Help on Textboxes.

You might start with one of the templates at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...389831033.aspx
and modify it to suit your needs by replacing/adding artwork
appropriate to the theme of your newsletter.
