Alignment of bracketed negative nos. with positive nos. in table
I want to align figures in a table so that where negative figures are shown
in brackets, they align with the positive figures. Normally the bracket aligns with the right digit of the positive numbers. |

If you insert a decimal tab stop in the cells in a given column, your
