Numbering a whole document in only odd or even numbers
I have two different style documents (arabic and english), that is a right
and left gutter. And it is needed that they are printed face to face and the page number would flow. Accordingly, the way i thought of is numbering the pages of one document as odd numbers and the other even and then print. I even could not do that and somehow stuck?!! any ideas |

You can use calculated page numbers in the header (or footer)
for each of the documents. For the odd-numbered document, use this field: { = { PAGE }*2 - 1 } and for the even-numbered document, use { = { PAGE }*2 }. Note that each pair of field delimiters, { }, must be added by pressing Ctrl+F9; then type the code as shown. Press F9 to update the field construct. To show/hide field codes, use Alt+F9 (if necessary). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Dr. J" Dr. wrote in message ...
