In a Word 2000 doc. I have paragraphs of text which refuse to justify using
the justify icon and when going to 'Paragraph' on the 'Format' menu. It will
however allow me to 'centre' the paragraphs and align to the left.

I have tried to paste the text into a blank document and justify but it
still won't work.

Getting desperate!

Display nonprinting characters (Ctrl+*) to see if there is a line or
paragraph break at the end of each line. That could be causing the problem.
