Need large Document to Practice ON
In Word 2003 I want to practice navigating, seeing markups, editing, and
comments, formating, etc. (the whole kit and kabootle) To do these things, I believe, I need a long word document to download and save. I've done a search (a quick one) for scholarly documents in Google with no success. I know I asked recentlhy a similar question. The answers were helpful but now I want to do so much more in my learning activities. Thanks. |

Project Gutenberg (http://www.gutenberg.org) has thousands of books available for free download; the top 100 are listed at http://www.gutenberg.org/browse/scores/top. I don't think you'll find many already in Word format, but almost all are available as plain text. Just open the file in Word and start formatting, editing, and practicing whatever you like. At the same time, you may get some entertainment. :-) -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |

You might use the Help function for this; it'll have lots of
stuff already in it for you to fiddle with too. Just select a topic you like and copy/paste it into a new doc. You'll also get the "education" of missingj link targets, etc. HTH, Pop "Milton" wrote in message ... : In Word 2003 I want to practice navigating, seeing markups, editing, and : comments, formating, etc. (the whole kit and kabootle) To do these things, I : believe, I need a long word document to download and save. All three replies have been helpful. I have since have used them. I have
also purchased MS Office Specialist Study Guide which comes with a CD of Documents each for specific skills to learn and practice. Thanks.
