How do i insert a text box in a template?
I am working with a newsletter template. Occasionally, I want to insert a
picture in the side columns. Sometimes I can insert a text box and insert a pic from file. Other times I draw the text box and as soon as I release the cursor it disappears. What am I doing wrong? |

How do i insert a text box in a template?
With the template file open (as a document), do the following: On the
Tools menu, click Options. Click the View tab. Check the "Text boundaries" option. Click OK. Now you should be able to see your text box. You can add a border via Format | Text Box, on the Colors and Lines tab. When you've added the border, you may want to right-click the text box border, and choose the Set AutoShape Defaults option. Save the template file. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "revrat2" wrote in message ... I am working with a newsletter template. Occasionally, I want to insert a picture in the side columns.
