Default How do I unwrap text - Force word to stay on same line

Hi, I've searched this in MS help and the forum here.

Is there a short cut key combination or a how to for this:
Sometimes I don't want a word to wrap to the next line. Is there a way to
force text to stay on the same line. (it could be a matter of few letters and
makes sense to keep text together on same line).

hope this is making sense.

Use a nonbreaking space (Ctrl+Shift+spacebar) instead of a regular space
character.
