Default Merge with table in a letter

I want to create a mail merge letter. It will only print one letter
page but be in a format something like this example below. The
important aspects are that it will have to merge the address and name
info in the letter but also merge a list of students. The number of
students in the list is arbitrary and may be between 5-500.

Any idea on how to set up something like this?

Address
State

Dear Name,

This is the list of students in your class this year.

StudentFirstName StudentLastName Subject
StudentFirstName StudentLastName Subject
StudentFirstName StudentLastName Subject
StudentFirstName StudentLastName Subject

Sincerely,
FromName

Hi Craig,

You can use Word's Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge facility for this (the terminolgy depends on the Word version). To see how, check
out my Word 97-2007 Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge Tutorial at:
http://www.wopr.com/index.php?showtopic=731107
or
http://www.gmayor.com/Zips/Catalogue%20Mailmerge.zip
Do read the tutorial before trying to use the mailmerge document included with it.

The only real difficulty you'll have is inserting the «FromName» field after the repeated data. The best way around that would be to
restructure your letter slightly, so that the student list follows the «FromName» field.
