Why has the delete function stopped working with selected text?
About 2 weeks ago, the delete key stopped deleting selected text in MS Word.
The key is not the problem, as it will still delete items that are not selected by highlighting them. The only way I can delete selected text is to press the Backspace key twice. I may have inadvertently, without realizing, touched a key or series of keys that changed the keyboard programming?? Also, there has been an autoupdate that occured in the background about the time that this function stopped working. Thanks, Joe |
