Word docs automatically changing to read-only
I've seen a couple of discussions regarding this with no sold answers. My
files are not on or from a CD, there is no virus (this is a heavily protected work environment), and I'm one of a handful of people with read/write capabilities on these docs. It's driving me nuts! I'll be making changes and creating bookmarks and hyperlinks (and saving after each change- I've learned to do that the hard way!), and all of a sudden my document will change to read-only. It doesn't even say read-only in the title bar, it just tells me that when I try to save again. What is causing this and, more importantly, how can I prevent it? |
