Default Stop Word 2007 "correcting" "2009" to "2009-08-11"?

When I type a date on a separate line (i.e. when I hit return after entering
the date), it changes "11th August 2009" to "11th August 2009-08-11".

Where is the option to turn-off this facility?

NB I cannot find it within the Autocorrect Options.
