How to associate files with Word 2007?
I know how to use control panel to change file associations but Word 2007
isn't in the list of available programs (it is on my computer, I use it all the time). The files can be opened after starting Word 2007 but if Word 2007 isn't running and I double-click on a .doc file it will not start Word 2007. I need to know where to "browse" to find the program file that will open Word 2007. |

Unless you changed the location during Office installation, it's C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\WinWord.exe -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
