How do I create a template for form letters?
Many years ago, I used Word Perfect. In that software, you could create
bookmarks that we already inserted into text. Then, you were prompted to fill in the bookmarks and they would automoatically insert into the document. So, I would type in the person's last name and it would show up as the person last name in the address block and the salutation. Is there a way to do this in Word 2007? Thanks for your help! |

Investigate Ask fields and Ref/Styleref fields - while you are at it, you
could look at Macrobutton fields http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm or for a more elegant approach User Forms http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Angela wrote: Many years ago, I used Word Perfect.
