Default how do I move 'ad-ins' tab from top to side

This used to be on the right side so I could easily access it while working
on documents. It somehow got moved to a tab on the top of the page and I
cannot figure out how to get it back on the side. (along the bottom it says
custom toolbars). I believe this is only availale while using TSS doc. prep.
system. Please help!!

The ribbon tabs cannot be moved; however, they can be minimized. If you
right-click the ribbon, is there a check mark next to the Minimize the Ribbon
option? Does clearing the option help?
