Save File Prompt
I am using Word 2003 with SP3 as part of Microsoft Office XP and have a
recurring problem, every time I open a file that I use very regularly, specifically a telephone/address file, Word always asks me if I want to save the file when I attempt to close it. I do not make any changes, sometimes not even scrolling down the page to get a name. Am I missing a setting in Word? Any help would be appreciated. |

Save File Prompt
There are several things that can make Word think that your document has
changed. Most common is a self-updating field like { DATE }. Other possibilities are auto macros. Printing a document does it also. "The Old Ranger" wrote in message ...
