Default How can I use MSWord objects in an MSAccess table in a mail merge.

I have an MSAccess 2000 format table in MSAccess 2003 that contains fields of
containing MSWord documents and want to use these documents in a MSWord 2003
mail merge. The merge works except that the contents of the fields of MSWord
documents merge as a small string of numbers.

Hi ?B?U3RldmUgV2lsdG9u?=,

I have an MSAccess 2000 format table in MSAccess 2003 that contains fields of

mail merge. The merge works except that the contents of the fields of MSWord

You can't do this. Word can only merge plain text, no OLE objects. That means no
pictures, no embedded documents, etc.

You only chance would be to save the documents to disk and put the file path (or
file name) into the Access table. Use that information in an IncludeText field
in the main merge document. (See the article in the Mail Merge FAQ on my website
about merging pictures.)
