Default I have microsoft office 2003 and it won't save a document, nor w.

I have microsoft office/word 2003 and it won't save a new document, nor will
it open and open word document. For example, when I have created a new word
document and I save it, and then close it...and then try to reopen the
document it says that the document isn't available. Note, there are no other
documents open while I am doing this!

What do you thinks?
