I think that they are known for, among other things, throwing blood on other
people who wear fur coats and such.

Default Slam the mouse to the upper right corner and close the window

OK, I see that my previous post was very emotional so I will try again. This
time in QA style.

1. Open Word 2003.
2. Move mouse pointer to upper right corner of the screen.
3. Click.
Expected result:
Word 2003 get closed.
Actual result:
Word 2003 get closed.

With new Word.
1. Open Word 2007.
2. Move mouse pointer to upper right corner of the screen.
3. Click.
Expected result:
Word 2007 get closed.
Actual result:
Nothing happends.

Am I clear now ?
People, do not forget that I am just traing to help YOU to improve YOUR
product. I am not posting here to make flame wars.

My next suggestion is when you mouse your mouse pointer to the upper left
corner of the screen and click to open the menu.

Sorry for my previous emotional post.

And final comment:
I is NOT good to insult your future customers.

Please notice that you were the one who wanted a slam a mouse around. I
couldn't figure out why you would do that. There were no flames from me -
just a bit of humor.

And Office 2007 isn't *my* product. I'm not a MS employee or stock holder.

You don't have to hold a stock to sell it ;-). Considering Word2007 I see a
couple excellent opportunities to make money:

Short sell MSFT
Learn XML and become an Office2007 developer

G'Day VERY UNhappy,

I must apologise for the very casual attitude of some of my colleagues.

I have spent some considerable time attempting to reproduce the problems
of which you write (- I even downloaded and installed the Beta 2 myself)!

I have failed to do so - perhaps because I lack the skills to 'slam' correctly.

When I click at the top right or left, Word(,Excel,Powerpoint....) closes
or displays menus as advertised.

Since I have not been able to reproduce the problem neither, I regret,
have I succeeded in answering all of your questions.

The answers that I have found serve only to raise a whole set of new
problems.

In some ways I feel as confused as ever but, I believe, I am now confused
on a higher level and about more important things.

The term "slam" is not infrequently used in describing actions in Word. I
remember being told to "slam" a toolbar or task pane against a side of the
screen to make it dock there. You do sometimes have to drag it briskly for
this to work.

closes
or displays menus as advertised.

Since I have not been able to reproduce the problem neither, I regret,
have I succeeded in answering all of your questions.

The answers that I have found serve only to raise a whole set of new
problems.

In some ways I feel as confused as ever but, I believe, I am now

confused
on a higher level and about more important things.

Let assume that Word 2007 is maximized.
I want to slam the mouse to the upper right corner and close the
window. I
want to slam the mouse to upper left corner and open the menu. Why I
cannot
do this in Word 2007 ?????

Insted of this actions Word 2007 is got normalized and this me VERY
UNhappy.

Default Slam the mouse to the upper right corner and close the window

What's the link? Cat and hamster?

Mice don't like to be dragged briskly any more than they like being
slammed. Ever see the video of the cat and hamster trying to figure out
how to use a mouse? :-)

The term "slam" is not infrequently used in describing actions in Word. I
remember being told to "slam" a toolbar or task pane against a side of
the
screen to make it dock there. You do sometimes have to drag it briskly
for
this to work.

Not stupid - just funny. I kept picturing a user throwing his mouse
around
with great force.

G'Day VERY UNhappy,

I must apologise for the very casual attitude of some of my
colleagues.

I have spent some considerable time attempting to reproduce the

problems
of which you write (- I even downloaded and installed the Beta 2

myself)!

I have failed to do so - perhaps because I lack the skills to 'slam'
correctly.

When I click at the top right or left, Word(,Excel,Powerpoint....)

closes
or displays menus as advertised.
