Word documents/templates
I want to make a Word document or a template(whichever) where I can type
only in a few shaded areas in the document. The rest of the form will be protected and inaccessible to any changes. I would like to be able to tab from one shaded area to the next. I don't think I want macros as I don't want to enter anything that is pre-recorded. I'll use many of the forms once they are built and the information entered into the shaded areas will be different from form to form. Thanks |

What you describe is precisely the functionality provided by Word forms.
It's all well covered in Help. "johnfort" wrote in message ... I want to make a Word document or a template(whichever) where I can type only in a few shaded areas in the document.
