Default Delete block help

Hi
If I select some text and then press delete insted of it deleting the text I
get asked at the bottom of the page "delete block no (yes)" my wives machine
does not ask this it just deletes the text .How can I change it so it
deletes the text

In Tools Options General, uncheck both WordPerfect options.

From the FAQ:

24. When I try to delete I have to confirm it.
Tools = Options = General -- uncheck the two Word Perfect
options
