serror 1706 setup cannot find the required files check your connection to the
network or cd rom drive for other potential solutions see c:\program\files\microsoft\office\office 10\1033\setup.hlp..i can't find an answer that fits..i accidently downloaded a file from an email. when i hit cancel, i can still work |

thanx Duan...does this refer to word 2003 using winxp? word had been working

In that case...I'd suggest you scan for a virus and spyware!
