Word 2003 - Forms
Is there any way to create a field in a Word 2003 document that converts a
figure into words? For instance, it would convert "200.00" into "Two hundred dollars and zero cents." |

Yes, you can do that by inserting a "switch" in the field code. The switch \*cardtext converts a number to words, and the switch \*dollartext includes the word 'and' in place of the decimal point and then expresses the first two decimal places as a fraction over 100 (a format often used on bank checks). To get the format you asked about, though, you would need to do a fair amount of extra work. Word 2003 - Forms
Most of my hyperlinks in a Word document have disappeared. When I copy and
paste hyperlinks into the places where they've gone from, they do not appear. I can click on the area where some of them were and the links still open. What's going on, and how can I fix it? When you say "most" of the hyperlinks have disappeared, do you mean that some
are still visible, or have _all_ of them disappeared? And when you click to follow the links, do they reappear? If they've all disappeared, but reappear when you follow them, then the character style named Hyperlink has been changed from its usual blue with underline to white (if the space is still there but empty) or Hidden (if the text around them has collapsed). Try modifying the style back to its original definition. If some are still visible, then direct formatting has been applied to the ones that aren't -- again, either white font or Hidden. Select one and press Ctrl+spacebar to remove all direct and character-style formatting, and then assign Hyperlink style to it.
