Index - not all words included
Hi.
I´ve created index using 'Index' and 'Auto mark' function but not all words are includet in in. for example - however word "book" is on page 14,20 and 56 in index is mentioned only 14. What did I wrong? Thanks. Peter |

You used AutoMark. This is a lazy and foolish way to create an index unless
you're actually shooting for a concordance. An index created this way will be virtually useless. See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/Createindex.htm -- Suzanne S. It can be, for many things. But the easiest way to do anything is not always
the best, and MS seems increasingly to try to make things easy to do and difficult to undo or modify. -- Suzanne S.
