Adding Autotext, saving the template when closing, but a few days later, the
Autotext is gone?

Is the template, also gone? If normal.dot, is it being reset by big brother
in IT?

I keep my AutoText in my own global templates, not in normal.dot. See

on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up customizations including
AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, toolbars, macros, etc.
