How to eliminate formatting?
Sorry folks, but I'm still having trouble with this book.
The printer says his people cannot convert this document to a pdf file and they don't know why. I am guessing it is because the book consists of so many different materials with so many different formats. I make that assumption because the author copied and pasted hundreds of quotes from the Internet and each quote has its own, original format. Then they sent it to an editor who worked on it and also put it into a 5.5 X 8 format. They didn't like her work and so sent it to me. I worked on it and then converted to the same 5.5 X 8 format. However, I am unable to "unlock" some of the paragraphs, that is, I cannot block indent or change them in any way. Some of the footnote titles and chapter titles cannot be aligned to the left or even justified at all. The question: is there any way to eliminate all former formatting from the book, (given all its sources) and start fresh? I thank you all very much. |
