Default Unusal Styles with Language Settings in a Document

Hello,

I use a standard template for creating my boilerplate documents that are
uploaded to a company database.

One of the administrators sent me a notice that a Heading style needed to be
fixed because it was incorrect. It showed *Heading 3 +(Asian) Batang for the
style when she viewed it. The correct style name is *Heading 3 and this is
all I see when I view my document. I have viewed all available style and do
not see any styles with language specifics. Also, I have checked my language
settings and have only US enabled. There are no other languages in the list.

The text in question was brought in from another document using my template
maco to Paste Special the text and then apply the formatting.

Any help with why this is occurring is greatly appreciated.

To hide the display of styles + formatting (such as "Heading 3 +(Asian)
Batang"), turn off the "Keep track of editing" option. In Word 2003, you'll
see this option in Tools | Options. For Word 2007, you turn it off via Office
button | Word Options, Advanced category.

To change the language of text, select it and then set the correct language
via the Set Language dialog box. To display the dialog, click Tools |
Language | Set Language (Word 2003), or Review tab | Set Language (Word 2007).
