Default Wh can't I see the picture in my word document?

Wh can't I see the picture in my word document? I am an Online student and I
download tons of reading material, but the pictures don't show.

Try clearing your cache. In IE, select Tools|Internet Options. On the
General Tab, under Temporary Internet Files, select Delete Files.

(No guarantee, but it's a good thing to do occasionally anyway.)

Using Wd2k
"Tools-Options-View" and de-select the "picture Placeholders" box.

(Your pictures should, however, still be visible on a print preview, regardless of the
setting.)

A third possibility, with recent hardware particularly, is that the display
driver has an issue with Word, which makes surprisingly large demands upon
it. In those circumstances check the display adapter manufacturer's web site
for a driver update.

I resolved this problem on my computer by updating display drivers.
